FAQs

I’m not fit enough to warrant a personal trainer….

If you haven’t ‘got fit’ on your own yet, chances are you’re struggling to get started and get motivated. It’s very easy at the end of a long day at work and dealing with the kids, to run out of time, and then something comes up on the weekend, and you postpone it till next week.. and before you know it another month has gone by and you haven’t started yet. The beauty of having a Personal Training session booked in is that you have a time and date pre-planned and locked in. You have a commitment to your Trainer and yourself to be fit and healthy.

How often do I need to train?

We will have a consultation to discuss your goal, health issues, and self-motivation.

Three times each week should be sufficient for you to start feeling and seeing results. Although, like anything, you will get more out of it if you put more in. Whether you work out with a Trainer every time is up to you, and how motivated you are, how often you can afford to train, and what your schedule is like every week.

How much is Personal Training?

Depending on your situation, needs and training frequency.

My most popular Personal training package starts at £180pcm. Four one-hour sessions a month.

Investing in a PT based in Brighton & Hove varies on experience, insurance, location, rent, time and quality. Other training options are available, think about sharing the cost and train with a partner or friend. Small group training is also an option.

If you spend £500 a year on gym fees and use the facility once or twice, with no results or if you buy a takeaway twice a week, at £25 each, £200 a month, as a consequence, that is expensive.

Will you put me on a diet? Stop me smoking or drinking.

As an experienced Trainer, I am fully aware that in order to change an unhealthy lifestyle you have to work within it. I can give you nutritional and lifestyle advice - whether you take it is up to you. I am only with you a few hours a week, but the fitter you become, the better you will treat your body as a natural consequence.
